Mandla Gaduka, who played Choppa on Generations, is back on TV as Charlie in the new sitcom Lenyalo Ha Se Papadi from Black Brain Pictures.
Mandla Gaduka, a well-known actor whose last TV role was two years ago on Isithembiso, told Daily Sun that he’s excited to play Charlie in Lenyalo Ha Se Papadi.
“I’m playing the part of Charlie. It’s a very fun part.”
Gaduka says that when he wasn’t acting on TV, he worked at other jobs to make money. He tells his colleagues in the business that they need to learn skills like directing and producing to stay in the business.
“I think performers should learn more about the business because it can help them get where they want to be.”
The talented actor Mandla Gaduka says that playing Choppa in the SABC1 soap opera Generations, now called Generations: The Legacy, changed his life for the better.
“That character made me work really hard. I am a quiet person, so making so many people smile surprised me.”
Gaduka stars with Mapaseka Koetle, who plays Mpho, and Meshack Magabane, who plays Desmond and is an actor and director from Durban Gen. Sunday World says that Mpho and Desmond end their marriage and try to figure out how to raise their children together.
Estate actress Clementine Mosimane, Nomzamo “Zamo” Dlamini, 7de Laan actor Nicholas Nkuna, Lindokuhle Mbonani, Siphiwe Ngcongwane, and Thando Dunjani are also part of the cast.
Shirley Adonisi, who is in charge of local entertainment channels at M-Net, told Sunday World, “Telenovelas, dramas, and reality shows have been big hits with our viewers over the past few years.” One type of show that we’re excited to highlight on our channel slates is comedy. We’re always ahead of the curve when it comes to our viewers’ tastes and preferences, and adding new shows to our schedule is a move we’re sure they’ll like.
