An aspiring rapper is being hailed as a hero after he alerted four people to the fires devouring their house as they slept in Iowa on October 23 and saved their lives.
Brendon Birt, better known as Blase 96 in the music industry, allegedly found the house after getting lost in the town of Red Oak. Because it was so late at night, he told the station, “I just felt like someone was in there.”
When the fire started, Tender Lehman, the home’s owner, was in Montana because of a family situation. On that fatal night, her three kids and their 22-year-old brother, Bryce Harrison, were inside sleeping.
While Lehman was gone, their brother looked after the three youngest kids. Ages of the kids are 17, 14, and 8.
According to the KCRA story, the family slept through the fire since the home’s smoke alarms did not sound an alarm.
Birt started slamming windows once he saw the fire in an attempt to awaken people inside.
According to Birt, “it seemed like every second that passed was simply growing worse.” It was so late at night that I only had the impression that someone was inside. I only knew that I needed to move quickly.
Lehman shared a video of her family’s narrow escape from death on Instagram. Her Ring doorbell camera caught the footage. The caption said, “The day our lives changed forever! “, according to her. But you say you rise from the ashes? ‘
Three little children belonging to Lehman were seen fleeing on camera, being pursued by their older brother.

According to the owner of the house, five of their seven pets were dead, and their home was completely destroyed.
The children’s father, Christopher Lehman, told the channel that the living room was completely dark. There is no trace of it remaining.
It took the Stanton Fire and Rescue Department five hours to put out the fire, according to a Facebook post.
The cause of the fire is being looked into, according to the Red Oak Fire Department.
Birt explained his decision-making process in an interview with NewsNationNow’s Prime, saying: “I chose to act very swiftly, because I understood how awful it going gonna become.”

Lehman revealed to the network that she now views Birt as family in a separate interview.

The family’s home is described as a “complete loss” on the website that Windy Monjarez, Tender Lehman’s mother, created.
