On Sunday, the Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) held a mass funeral to honor their jihadists who were neutralized by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jets during a series of airstrikes in Marte community, Borno State.
The coordinated attacks by the Air Component of Operation Hadin kai took place on July 29, 2023, specifically targeting the areas of Jibularam and Kwalaram between 0830hrs – 0900hrs.
The military’s response was crucial in neutralizing the threat posed by the terrorists who had been amassing in the designated areas.
The burial took place on the outskirts of Kwalaram, as reported by intelligence sources.
