Seattle Parks & Recreation’s scholarship program, which is funded by the Seattle Park District, provides financial assistance to individuals and families who desire to participate in our programs and activities.
The assistance is based on family size and income, and it is available to anybody who meets the criteria, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Scholarship applications are encouraged from all people, regardless of citizenship or immigration status.
If you are unable to produce income verification using the accepted papers, Seattle Parks and Recreation will work with you to find alternative methods of confirming your income.
Scholarships help make our programs and activities more accessible to the community, and can provide discounts at any Seattle Parks and Recreation facility or program, including classes, swimming, enrichment programs, Lifelong Recreation (aged 50+), Special Population programs, Environmental Learning Center programs, school-age child care for before and after school, and much more
