Bayern Munich lost 0-3 to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup, ending hopes of a perfect start for English striker Harry Kane.
Kane, who joined the German giants from Tottenham hours before the match, was a substitute in the game. But his quest for a first piece of major silverware did not materialise on Saturday all thanks to a Dani Olmo hattrick at the Allianz Arena.

The Bayern fans gave Kane a rousing reception when he was introduced as a 63rd-minute substitute just hours after his signing from Tottenham, but the England captain was largely anonymous as Leipzig eased to victory.
