A police dog named Finn, who valiantly protected his PC owner and gained fame on Britain’s Got Talent, has passed away at the age of 14.
This brave German Shepherd named Finn and his handler, PC Dave Wardell, impressed the judges during their appearance on the show in 2019.
Despite the life-threatening situation, Finn miraculously recovered.
Finn’s bravery went beyond his actions on the field; he and Dave worked together to campaign for Finn’s law, which aimed to provide greater protection for service animals across the United Kingdom.
This crucial legislation significantly increased the maximum prison sentence for animal cruelty from six months to five years, ensuring better protection for animals like Finn.
