After his opulent wedding to Jennifer Lopez over the weekend, Ben Affleck was being escorted to the airport in Georgia to catch a flight home. He was fatigued.
When the 50-year-old actor was seen in the back of an SUV on his way to the airport on Sunday night, he could hardly open his eyes and seemed to have been dozing or needing a nap after the festivities.
Despite not being seen in the pictures, Lopez apparently rode in the SUV with Affleck.
Just one day after the couple’s wedding celebration amid family and friends, the party was observed being taken to the private airport in Georgia.
A little while later, Affleck was seen preparing to board the private jet with his closest pal Matt Damon, 51, and his wife and kids in tow.
Ben seemed a bit more alert when he boarded the aircraft since he was wearing a dark blue T-shirt, slacks, and black and white sneakers.
In a cropped white t-shirt, Luciana, who wed director Matt in 2005, wore a similarly casual outfit. She wore the top with fashionable, loose-fitting, and faded denim, exposing some of her midriff in the process.
Children Isabella Damon, 16, Gia Damon, 14, and Stella Damon, 11, joined the longstanding couple.
Prior to the Afflecks’ three-day wedding celebration, the family of five had landed in the state.
They arrived on a private plane on Friday to commemorate the second wedding of the reunited couple, who had already wed in Las Vegas one month earlier.
Ben and Matt have been buddies since they were little children and lived in the same Massachusetts neighbourhood.
Since then, they’ve both had enormous success in the entertainment sector and have often worked together on blockbusters.
On Ridley Scott’s historical drama The Last Duel from 2021, Matt and Ben collaborated. The two previously won an Oscar for their 1997 screenplay for Good Will Hunting.
An unnamed movie on former Nike executive Sonny Vaccarro and the company’s partnership with Michael Jordan has been in production since this year.
In 2016, Matt described his bond with Ben to Entertainment Tonight, saying, “I’ve known him for 35 years, and we grew up together.” We both have a similar passion for performing and filmmaking.
In those extremely crucial, formative years, “I suppose we fed on one other’s passion and it linked us for life.”
On The Carlos Watson Show last year, he also commented on Affleck and Lopez’s relationship, saying, “They’re both fantastic. All I want is for them to be happy. At this moment, they seem to be content.
No one is pulling harder than I am, he shouted when asked whether he will attend the couple’s wedding.
He was granted his request; the wedding on Saturday had an old Hollywood theme, and the cake was a waterfall of cream and gold as Ben and Jennifer finally penned their happily ever after at a wedding that had taken twenty years to plan.
Compared to the little celebration in Las Vegas, their August celebration was significantly larger. Just south of Savannah, Georgia, on the 87-acre Hampton Island Preserve property, it happened.

The dress reportedly included cap sleeves, an open-back cutout, and a flowing train with ruffle embellishments.
All of the attendees dressed in white for the ceremony, matching the furniture, which included chairs, a piano, and a white wedding bell.
On a pier by the river, the pair posed for a number of photos. Before the event, they posed for a number of family pictures.
The sign that said, “Jennifer & Ben, baby I love u, heart & soul, marry me, let’s get loud!” greeted visitors as they entered the back of the decorated farmhouse, where tables were set up for a beautiful celebration. Next to it, a charming swing was hanging.
The attendees were kept cool by large fans throughout the sweltering Georgia summer.
Guests were invited to wear white to the wedding, and the farmhouse was adorned with rich velvet and silk, rubies, and purples in contrast to the event’s fresh white flowers and linens.
With Moroccan-influenced colours and tapestry cushions—possibly inspired by Casa Blanca, one of the numerous movie posters that lined the walls—easy chairs were grouped around steamer-trunk-style tables.
The venerable films King Kong and Gone With the Wind were among the others.
The luxurious interior was decked with pots of violets, a reference to Affleck’s eldest daughter Violet, who is 16 years old.
Visitors smoked cigars at high tables set up in the entry part of the barn-style structure or at a dark wooden bar. The space above was lighted by chandeliers and spotlights, and candles flickered in lanterns along the corridors.
Delicate cupcakes with cherries on top and other sweet treats were appreciated, but the beautiful centrepiece was a three-tiered cake with cream and gold frosting.
‘It was all pretty classy and not quite as splashy as you would have anticipated from two such major stars,’ said an insider.
The roads leading up to the main house, the farmhouse, and a location known as Turtle Lake were beautifully decked with flowers, and there were plenty floral displays all around.
This area was transformed into a beach for visitors to enjoy, complete with kayaks, parasols, sun loungers, and sand that was carefully hauled in.
The helipad and seaplane hangar frequented by celebrities are close.
