Biden names the MAGA Republicans “Trumpies” and calls the heckler a “idiot” who is “killing democracy”: In Wisconsin, the President begins his latest assault on the ‘extreme right’ Labor Day address

Early in his speech, he appeared to take back his August remark comparing the ideas of Trump supporters to’semi-fascism’
Not every Republican is a Trump supporter. Not all Republicans adhere to this extreme philosophy, the president stated.
Later, while a heckler was being removed out of the room, he remarked, “The MAGA Republicans are killing democracy.
November Senate candidate Mandela Barnes, the Democratic lieutenant governor of Wisconsin, was conspicuously absent from Biden’s speech.
Monday, Barnes participated in ‘activities across the state’ to observe Labor Day, including a Milwaukee parade, according to his campaign.
President Joe Biden introduced a new moniker for MAGA Republicans on Labor Day during a raucous address in which he also retracted statements indicating that Donald Trump’s supporters support’semi-fascism.’
During his Monday speech in Wisconsin, the president referred to the former president’s supporters as “Trumpies” and said that ‘extreme right’ Republican politicians are “coming for your social security” and ruining employee pensions.
At one point, a heckler interrupted Biden, but he instructed the Secret Service to “let him go.”
Everyone has the right to be an idiot, declared the president amid scattered laughs.
And despite his early clarification that “not every Republican is a MAGA Republican,” he eventually portrayed the critic and his ilk as attempting to “destroy democracy.”
Biden stated, “These MAGA Republicans in Congress are also coming for your Social Security, which is the starkest contrast to what MAGA Republicans, the extreme right, the Trumpists, have proposed.”
Since making a furious debut on the midterm campaign trail in Bethesda, Maryland at the end of last month, the 79-year-old leader has escalated his criticism against the former president and his associates in recent days.
The president linked MAGA Republican ideals to semi-fascism at a private luncheon with contributors, garnering immediate outrage from all factions on the right.

On Monday, he clarified these remarks by stating, “I want to be extremely clear up front.” Not every Republican is a Trump supporter. Not all Republicans adhere to this radical viewpoint. I am aware of this since I have worked with mainstream Republicans throughout my entire career.’
The Trump stated, “But the hardline MAGA Republicans in Congress have decided to go backwards – full of fury, violence, hatred, and division.” But together, we may and must select a different course: forward.
Later, though, when the heckler who interrupted his address was being removed by security, Biden ramped up the heat once more.
“Democrats, Republicans, mainstream-Republicans, and independents, we must be stronger, more resolute, and more dedicated to preserve the American democracy,” the president pleaded above the din.
“And the MAGA Republicans – that man leaving – are killing democracy.” Because democracy is in jeopardy.
A man in a suit interrupted the president’s speech at one point. It is unclear what the man shouted.
Biden referred to the critic as a “idiot” and instructed security to “let him go.”
The man sporting an American flag lapel pin was referred to by the president as a “MAGA Republican.”
The president regularly criticized Republican senators, notably Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, for voting against his program, which included the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure agreement.
He also criticized the GOP for opposing the Butch Lewis Act, a feature of the American Rescue Plan during the COVID-19 epidemic that protected the pensions of approximately 10 million union members.
Biden asserted that Republicans who supported the bill voted against it due to fears about re-election.
“Not a single Republican congressman voted to safeguard your pensions – not a single one.” In addition, I am aware that many wanted to vote for it. They fear losing primary elections in the new Republican Party, he stated.
Touting the recently-approved Inflation Reduction Act – a climate and healthcare spending plan that passed without Republican support – Biden thundered: ‘This year, we defeated the pharmaceutical industry, and it mattered. We have finally defeated the pharmaceutical industry.
Democrat Mandela Barnes, Wisconsin’s lieutenant governor who is running against Republican Sen. Johnson in November, was conspicuously absent from the gathering.
Biden began his speech by stating that Barnes ‘couldn’t be here’ but is ‘going to be your next United States senator.’
The Democratic official’s team told DailyMail.com that he participated in other Labor Day festivities throughout his state.
In an email, spokesperson Maddy McDaniel stated, ‘The Lt. Governor appreciates the President coming to Wisconsin to celebrate the labor movement in our state.’
Mandela participated in the Milwaukee march before attending events across the state to support Wisconsin workers, notably in Racine where UAW Local 180 has been on strike for over 100 days.
It comes at a time when Democrats across the nation are witnessing a rise in approval ratings that is somewhat unusual for the ruling party in a midterm election year.
Biden’s job approval rating has increased in recent weeks, but Democrats in battleground states and districts appear to be treading cautiously – especially as the president escalates his anti-Trump comments.
“When I say that democracy is under jeopardy, I mean it literally. This was an attack on American democracy,’ the president remarked in Wisconsin, referring to Trump’s support for the disturbance at the Capitol.
