Coach Jerry congratulated his team after the game for sticking to the game plan and avoiding surprises.
“We faced a very formidable club that has dominated the league. Our tactics had to be flawless, and our ball dominance demonstrated how well we executed our game plan. Because we played in three separate tournaments over the course of a very lengthy season, we made various tactical adjustments to keep the team fresh. Overall, it was a positive outcome for us, and we are thrilled with how we utilized our opportunities,” remarked Kappa.
With this victory, Sundowns Ladies now have 79 points on the season after winning 26 of 29 games. The Brazilians have scored 122 goals and conceded only 11, the best defensive record in the league. Meanwhile, Coach Jerry’s squad has amassed an astounding +111 goal differential.
