In addition to famous personalities, the video also features members of the Great British public.

When cabin crew member Emily Mae Jackson cautions customers that life jackets should not be inflated inside the aircraft, the instruction is taken out of context playfully, with a farmer near Dover and two fishermen on Deal beach in Kent inflating their life jackets.

According to Calum Laming, British Airways chief customer officer, the airline needed to create something different that would capture passengers’ attention.

The company aimed to highlight its unique British Original positioning, which celebrates its employees and Britishness, showcasing the quirks that put the country on the map.

The video is a real celebration of originality and is expected to provide a unique safety demonstration experience for British Airways passengers.
