Cape Town Pride 2022 returns after 2 years break

Everything and more is promised for Cape Town Pride 2022. The vibrant event will feature a larger stage, broader grounds, more stalls, and performances by local and international artists this year.
The price of a ticket to the much-anticipated event is R50 per person. The organization says they want to put a sequined heel on the field at A-Track stadium, according to a statement. To do so, they’ll need to secure R20 million in public liability insurance to ensure they follow the new Cape Town by-laws.

“Once we have done that we can place said heel onto the field, we have to put the basics into place like; security, fencing and cleaning which comes in at about R77 000.”

“Think of your R50 as partying and celebrating with a conscious. [The event] is for everyone and together we can make a more diverse and inclusive LGBTQI+ community in Cape Town,” concludes the organisation.
