In Ceredigion, a woman has been hospitalized after her car veered off the road and crashed into a wall on Monday morning.
The collision occurred near the hamlet of Goginan, prompting the closure of the A44 between Aberystwyth and the village of Ponterwyd for nearly three hours.
Single Vehicle Collision and Driver’s Condition
The crash involved only one vehicle, and the driver sustained injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.
The woman was promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed their presence at the scene, stating that the single vehicle road traffic collision took place around 11:45 am on Monday, May 22.

According to a spokeswoman from Dyfed-Powys Police, the vehicle departed from the road and collided with a wall near Goginan, Aberystwyth.
She further stated that the road was closed due to the incident but was reopened at 2:25 pm.
