Chris Rock is set to make history

Chris Rock is set to make history as the first artist to perform a live-streaming Netflix special with his new stand-up set, Selective Outrage, live from Baltimore, Maryland.

The highly anticipated event will begin at 10:00 p.m. ET (7:00 p.m. PT) on March 4th, 2023, and promises to deliver an unforgettable night of laughs. Netflix’s inaugural live-streamed global comedy event will feature a pre-show at 9:30 p.m. ET, hosted by Ronny Chieng from The Comedy Store, and will include performances by Arsenio Hall, Leslie Jones, and Deon Cole.

Following Selective Outrage, Chris Rock’s old Saturday Night Live pals David Spade and Dana Carvey will host The Show After The Show, with appearances by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and JB Smoove.

For those looking to enjoy some of Chris Rock’s previous work before the show, his 2018 stand-up special, Tamborine, is available to stream on Netflix. To watch Selective Outrage live online, viewers simply need to click on the red “Watch Live” play button, which will be available for members at 9:20 p.m. ET.

Streamers can also rewind, pause, and jump directly to the live broadcast or choose to watch from the beginning if they join late. If viewers can’t watch live, the special will also be available to stream on Netflix after the live event.
