The Citi Field right-field wall is advancing.
Mike Puma of The Post was the first to report that construction is started on the Mets’ new right field, with a portion of the wall sliding in more than 8 feet to create place for a new spectator experience. In the 50-foot-long nook area to the right of the 370-foot sign in right centre, the fence will be moved in about 8 feet, 6 inches.

The larger area beyond the right-field wall will be transformed into living-room-style seating with individual televisions and food items inspired by New York’s renowned speakeasies.
The Mets held a news conference on Thursday at Citi Field to announce the re-signing of Brandon Nimmo. During the offseason, two new huge video boards will be installed in the outfield.
