A concerned citizen in Texas reported a suspicious blue pickup truck attempting to pull him over with emergency lights, leading to the arrest of Luciano Amador Velazquez.
Deputies from the Parker County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and apprehended the 42-year-old man from Weatherford, located around 50 miles west of Dallas.
Velazquez claimed that he uses the blue and red emergency lights mounted on his dashboard to encourage safer driving.
However, the victim in the most recent incident reported that Velazquez was following him closely and attempting to block his vehicle from leaving the area.
The Parker County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the driver of the truck was flashing emergency lights from inside the vehicle while trying to cut the victim off from the roadway.
Luciano Amador Velazquez has been charged with impersonating a police officer and is currently being held on a $15,000 bond, according to jail records.
