In 2015, Davido had another major breakthrough with his second album “The Baddest”. The album’s lead single “The Sound” was an instant hit, quickly climbing the charts in Nigeria and beyond. The album also earned Davido his first Grammy nomination for “Best World Music Album”. 

Davido continued to dominate the Nigerian music scene with his third album “A Good Time” in 2019. The album featured several international guest artists including Chris Brown, Summer Walker, and Lil Baby. It was also nominated for “Album of the Year” at the 2020 Grammy Awards. 

Aside from his musical achievements, he has also made waves in the business world. In 2017, he launched his own record label “Davido Music Worldwide” (DMW). The label has since signed several major artists including Mayorkun, Dremo, and Peruzzi.
