Death Row killer Donald Dillbeck eats shrimp, pecan pie and onion rings as last meal

Donald Dillbeck, a Death Row inmate in Florida, ate a final meal of fried shrimp, onion rings, mushrooms, butter pecan ice cream, pecan pie, and a chocolate bar before his execution on February 23.

Dillbeck was sentenced to death for the murder of Faye Vann in 1990 and had also previously murdered a police officer and another man. He was visited by a spiritual advisor before his execution, and none of his relatives came to visit him.

State rules limit last meals to $40 and require that all food be bought locally. Dillbeck’s last words included an apology for his past actions and a vulgar attack on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
