Details of Deputy President William Ruto’s clandestine voyage abroad, which was never revealed to the public, have emerged just a day after he returned to Kenya from Dubai.
Kieni MP Kanini Kega reported on his Facebook page that while in Dubai, Ruto snuck away to Italy for an unclear mission.
Ruto was in Milan, Italy for two days, according to Kega, for “undisclosed business.”
He stated that he will provide more information about Ruto’s journey in the future.
“Can the Deputy President confirm or deny that he ‘sneaked out of Dubai to Milan Italy for 2 days’ for undisclosed business?? Details to follow!
“You will thank me later,” he posted.
Kanini made the unsubstantiated claims only a day after Ruto jetted back into the country from Dubai.
While in Dubai, Ruto visited Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, who has been receiving treatment there.
During the visit, Kuria invited Ruto for his homecoming thanksgiving prayer that is scheduled to happen at Thika Stadium on February 19.
Kuria suffered a third-degree burn from an electric mat and has undergone several procedures both locally and abroad.
