On Saturday, 22 October 2022, the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) will organize the annual Diplomatic Fair on the southern lawns of the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
According to DIRCO, the event brings together international diplomatic missions accredited in South Africa to showcase and promote their various nations through, among other things, the arts, music, and gastronomy.
The department stated, “The Diplomatic Fair was hosted for the first time in 2006 and has since become an important event on the diplomatic calendar in Pretoria, providing as a platform to promote and celebrate the unity and variety of the world.”
Exhibitions and cultural performances will be featured in the event’s schedule.
The gates open at 8:00 am and admission is free.
