Award-winning director Erika Lust’s latest feature porn movie, “The Wedding,” is designed to turn women on, with its plot revolving around a free-spirited and non-monogamous relationship between bride Diana and groom Lucas.
The film, which cost over £270,000 to produce, features an all-star cast and explores pansexuality, non-monogamy and the stigmas around them through the female gaze.
It has been shot from the perspective of the female gaze, and has been described as a “hot and hilarious rom-com” that is a challenge to traditional wedding scenes.
With up to 108 people on set for the busiest day of shooting, the movie includes five sex scenes and a jazzy original soundtrack.
The all-female crew contributed their perspectives and creative work to the film.
“The Wedding” is one of Erika Lust’s most expensive feature porn films to date, and the film is a unique expression of the female gaze in adult cinema, offering a refreshing perspective to the traditionally male-oriented genre.
Although the film represents a significant milestone in female-oriented porn, it also challenges the traditional adult film industry, with films that are commonly dominated by male directors and catered to male audiences.
Erika Lust’s work seeks to empower women and redefine the porn industry, creating a unique space for female pleasure and sexuality.
By creating female-friendly porn, Lust’s work offers a valuable alternative to traditional porn, giving voice to women’s sexual desires and fantasies, which have long been ignored and trivialised in mainstream culture.
