Prince Andrew is reportedly unwilling to leave his home at Windsor Castle if King Charles tries to evict him, according to sources. The Duke of York has spent millions renovating his residence at the sprawling Royal Lodge, which includes 30 bedrooms, a pool, and 98 acres of land.
Amid rumors that the King wants to reduce costs and remove Andrew, insiders claim that the Prince will not be evicted, and if the King wants to reimburse him for the money spent on the property, that’s another matter.
Andrew has become a recluse, spending most of his time at home since being stripped of his royal and military honors for his association with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Palace insiders claim Andrew spends his days riding horses and watching TV, with few friends to call upon. The demoted royal’s annual allowance of $300,000 is expected to be cut, and he may not be able to afford the maintenance costs of his home.
