“Werewolf by Night”: October 7
Marvel Studios’ special presentation follows a group of monster hunters who come face to face with Jack Russell (Gael Garcia Bernal) who can turn into a werewolf.
Directed by Michael Giacchino, the composer has scored most of the big movies of the past year, including “The Batman,” “Thor: Love and Thunder,” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

“Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special”: December 2022
Gunn shared on Twitter that he has been bugging Feige “endlessly” about this special over the years. Filmed during production of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” the special takes place between the events of “Thor: Love and Thunder” and “GotG Vol. 3.”
The special shouldhelp set up the third film in the trilogy. Gunn said it serves as an epilogue to Phase IV of the MCU.
“Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur”: February 10
The animated series follows the smartest girl in the MCU, 13-year-old Lunella Lafayette aka Moon Girl. She uses her super genius to bring a 10-ton T-Rex named Devil Dinosaur into the present. Together, they work to protect New York City’s lower east side.
The series will debut on Disney Channel first before making its way to Disney+. Laurence Fishburne serves as an executive producer on the series and also voices a character.
“Secret Invasion”: spring 2023
The comic of the same name follows shapeshifting Skrulls who have infiltrated Earth for years.
Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury alongside Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), and Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) from “Captain Marvel.”
“This is a darker show,” Smulders said at SDCC in July. “It’s going to be an exciting thriller and you’re never really gonna know who people are. Are they a Skrull? Are they human?”
This could be a chance to see some dead characters come back to life if Skrulls are pretending to be them. Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Kingsley Ben-Adir will also star.
“Echo”: summer 2023
The “Hawkeye” spinoff will star Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez (aka the superhero Echo) and feature the return of her uncle Kingpin (Vincent D’onofrio). The series will show how her actions in New York City at the end of “Hawkeye” affect her in her hometown.
Devery Jacobs, Graham Greene, Cody Lightning and Chaske Spencer will also star.
“Loki” season two: summer 2023
Season two will pick up after the events of season one which ended with the reveal of Kang the Conqueror, the fracturing of the multiverse, and Loki back at a version of the Time Variance Authority that didn’t recognize him.
Ke Huy Quan will join Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, and Sophia Di Martino on the show’s second season as they further explore the multiverse. A mysterious teaser to the tune of a creepy, ticking score shown exclusively at D23 Expo showed Loki being torn apart across time where the God of Mischief claimed to see “terrible, awful things.”

“Ironheart”: fall 2023
Dominique Thorne will play genius inventor Riri Williams, who builds the most advanced suit of armor anyone’s seen since Iron Man. According to Marvel, the series “delves into the dynamics of tech versus magic.”
Thorne will make her MCU debut in this fall’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” She’ll be joined in the series by Parker Robbins who will play The Hood.
“Agatha: Coven of Chaos”: winter 2023
“WandaVision” character Agatha Harkness is getting her own spin-off series. When we last saw Agatha, Wanda put a spell on her at the end of “WandaVision.”
“WandaVision” executive producer Jac Schaefer returns as executive producer and head writer for this Marvel series.
“Daredevil: Born Again”: spring 2024
A new “Daredevil” series will feature the return of Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprising their roles as Matt Murdock and Kingpin, respectively, from the Netflix series.
The series will have a huge 18-episode first season.
“Armor Wars”: TBD
Based on the Marvel comic, the series will make Colonel James Rhodes (aka War Machine) deal with the fallout of his old friend’s tech falling into the wrong hands.
Don Cheadle will reprise his MCU role as War Machine on the Disney+ show where it’s expected will see the hero in all-new suits. Filming on the series will begin in 2023.
An animated “X-Men” show is coming to Disney+.

“X-Men ’97” will explore new stories in the same timeline as the original animated series. Beau DeMayo is executive producer and head writer.
Marvel’s “What If…?” animated series is getting a spin-off called “Marvel Zombies.”
Perhaps the best episode of “What If…?“, which centered around an apocalyptic Marvel-verse, is getting its own animated series.
Directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews, the series will follow a new group of heroes battling a quickly spreading zombie virus.
We’re also getting a “Spider-Man” animated series based off of Tom Holland’s web-slinger.

“Spider-Man: Freshman Year” will take a look back at Peter Parker’s early days in the MCU and how he became Spidey. Executive producer Jeff Trammel will serve as head writer.
A second season of Marvel’s animated series “What If…?” is in the works.

The animated series is inspired by the comic books of the same name. Each episode takes a look at an important moment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and plays out an alternate “what if” scenario.
According to a press release, season two will continue to follow The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) as he meets “new heroes and explore more strange new worlds in the MCU’s ever-expanding Multiverse.”
The series is directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews. Executive producer AC Bradley serves as head writer.
