According to reports, a man has been arrested for reportedly breaking into Drake’s Beverly Hills residence on Thursday night.
TMZ alleges that the rapper, who purchased the mansion for $75 million last year, was not there during the break-in.
The security crew of the “God’s Plan” hitmaker phoned the police after observing a man leaving the property with a stolen item.
The individual, whose name is currently unknown, managed to depart on foot before police arrived, according to the news source.
Hours after conducting a thorough search of the estate, police saw a man matching the description provided by Drake’s security walking down the street.
It is not the first time that robbers have targeted the rapper’s property in Los Angeles. In July 2022, a 23-year-old intruder was apprehended for attempting to break into the residence.
The huge mansion, located between Bel-Air and the Hollywood Hills, features a stunning 22 baths and 10 bedrooms. He purchased the property from British musician Robbie Williams.
It consists of an 11-car garage, an elevator, and a wine cellar and encompasses 20,000 square feet on more than 20 acres.
The theft occurred just days after the rapper, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, performed at New York City’s legendary Apollo Theater.
Reportedly the largest and most costly hotel room in North America, the rapper’s suite is 10,000 square feet with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, four fireplaces, a steam room, a dining room that seats up to 24, a full kitchen, a grand piano, and a balcony with “ridiculous” views.
