During a polygraph examination for a job interview with a local police agency, an Arizona man acknowledged having child pornography.
According to court records acquired by AZ Family, Sergio Celaya confessed to officers from the El Mirage Police Department on Monday that he still had tapes of him and his ex-girlfriend engaging in sexual activity as minors.
The 25-year-old reportedly admitted to cops that he often visited a website where teenage females would send him sexually explicit films while applying to work as a police assistant.
According to the publication, Celaya reportedly possessed a flash drive with hundreds of pornographic pictures and films, including one with children in it who were between the ages of 12 and 13.
According to El Mirage police, when investigators investigated Celaya’s residence, they discovered child pornography on flash drives and material featuring kids between the ages of 5 and 15 on his personal computer.
Since hundreds of photographs were discovered stored in the folders, investigators are currently poring through the flash drives obtained at Celaya’s houses.
There were four charges of child exploitation brought against Celaya.
According to the source, Celaya said he would visit Omegle, a free online chat and video chat platform, where he would buy graphic images and videos of minors from random users.
The source claims that Celaya admitted to investigators that while searching the internet for child pornography, he would use a virtual private network (VPN) to encrypt his data and hide his identity.
“Once they became aware of the suspect’s words, my investigators moved quickly. El Mirage Police Chief Paul Marzocca posted a statement on Facebook that said, “There is no place in any society for owning this sort of material or indulging in this type of activity.
