“If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya,” tweeted the billionaire.
Does this mean the billionaire has been receiving death threats?
The Daily Mail reports that Musk has been threatened by the head of Russia’s space agency over his attempts to provide Ukraine with internet service.
The billionaire shared a tweet by the head of Russia’s space agency to media which states that he is involved in supplying the “fascist forces in Ukraine with military communication equipment”.
He posted about dying yet again on 9 May.
One of his 92.1 million followers sent him his blessings in the comments section of the tweet.
“You won’t die before your day Elon. Anyhow, you are/were a unique figure in this world. I’m only wondering one thing: As a genius, haven’t you find out that there is a great creator of this world yet? If you did, make sure you confess this before your last heart beat. Bless (you),” wrote @Almisehal.
Musk then responded to his follower thanking him for his blessings, but saying he is okay with going to hell. He went on to say that the majority of humans will be there too.
“Thank you for the blessing, but I’m ok with going to hell, if that is indeed my destination, since the vast majority of all humans ever born will be there,” wrote Musk.
This sparked a conversation of evolution or creation and subsequently religion on Twitter. Take a look…
Conversation seems to be in line with Musk wanting to promote free speech on Twitter.
“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” he said in a statement according to CNN.
Many were confused over what this could mean on the platform but Musk cleared the air. He said that he meant free speech in which matches the law.
