A UK ticket holder has come forward to claim the £109.9 million EuroMillions prize from last Friday.
The winning primary numbers were 3, 25, 38, 43, and 49, with 3 and 7 as Lucky Star numbers.
To win the top prize, a UK player has to match all five EuroMillions numbers as well as the two Lucky Star numbers.
After the lottery ticket has been validated and paid, the ticket bearer will chose whether or not to go public with their announcement, according to Camelot.
It’s unclear whether the winner was a single player or a group of players.
Andy Carter, from The National Lottery, said: “We’re delighted this amazing prize has now been claimed.
It’s an amazing EuroMillions jackpot win.
” This is the first EuroMillions jackpot won in the UK this year.
The lucky ticket-holder has gone into 10th place on The National Lottery’s rich list.
The UK’s biggest ever win was in October 2019, when a £170m EuroMillions jackpot was scooped.
