Female electrician shares tips on tradie phrases that can get clients uncomfortable

women’s sparky After sharing a few terms that she uses at work as an electrician that would sound X-rated to someone outside the field, Ciara made her admirers giggle.

After publishing a list of tradie terms she uses at work that make people “uncomfortable” outside of the field, a female electrician had her followers in fits of laughter.

Ciara, who goes by the handle @coceullar96 on social media, posted a video of herself dancing around a destroyed house while wearing her professional attire.

The young woman listed some words she uses at work in the video, which has received over 31,000 likes. But, when taken out of context, they appear to have a more explicit meaning.

Things I say as a female electrician that make people feel uncomfortable is how she labeled the video.

She started the list off by asking, “Do you have my strippers?”

Obviously, she refers to a wire stripper tool, but people who are not experts in the field might have thought she was referring to exotic dancers.

Secondly, she said, “My dikes are blue,” but don’t worry—she meant diagonal pliers.

The last, and riskiest, quote was, “Lube the skull first before the pull.”
