Ozzy Osbourne appeared frail in his first public appearance after declaring his retirement from performing.
Fox News got footage of the Black Sabbath leader utilizing a cane as he went from a parked vehicle to the door of a Los Angeles medical facility on Wednesday.
A long gray dress coat was worn over black slacks and a black turtleneck by the vocalist. He wore many rings and a watch as accessories.
The “Crazy Train” musician appeared to be in high spirits after canceling all of his forthcoming performances in the United Kingdom and Europe just hours prior to his departure.
As he continues to heal from spinal surgery, Osbourne acknowledged in a message posted to social media on Wednesday that he is “not physically capable” of performing worldwide.
Osbourne admitted that he “would never have imagined that my touring days would end in this manner.”
“I am truly humbled by your patience in holding onto your tickets for so long,” he wrote. “However, I have come to the realization that I’m not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/UK tour dates, as I know I couldn’t handle the required travel.”
Osbourne acknowledged that although his “singing voice is fine,” his physical health has deteriorated as a result of his continuous battle with Parkinson’s disease.
The “Iron Man” rocker has endured three procedures, stem cell therapies, physical therapy, and Hybrid Assistive Limb treatment since 2019 when he was diagnosed with the brain illness.
His message added, “My team is currently brainstorming locations where I can perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer was released from a Los Angeles hospital in June after undergoing a “major operation” that will “determine the rest of his life,” according to his wife Sharon Osbourne, 70.
The procedure comprised the removal and realignment of pins from his neck and back.
In addition to Parkinson’s disease and COVID-19, the artist has been battling with the effects of a quad-biking accident that occurred in 2003.
