a new year, a new house?
More than two weeks after the Kardashian family faced criticism for keeping the dogs in the garage, North West presented her two Pomeranians, Sushi and Sake, to a prepared lunch in her mother Kim Kardashian’s kitchen.
The offspring of Kim Kardashian and disgraced rapper Kanye West posted a TikTok video of herself cooking a special New Year’s Day meal for her dogs that included human food.
The dish’s colorful ingredients included salmon, lettuce, pears, chicken, peanut butter, and carrots.
To get ahead of any backlash, the 9-year-old smartly panned to a guide showing which human foods dogs can consume.
“New Year’s dog plates,” she captioned the clip.
It’s unclear if the dogs have moved permanently inside the boundaries of Kardashian’s estate or if they were only treated to a special indoor dinner once.
Shortly after North’s mother unintentionally revealed in a since-deleted tape that her dogs might live in their garage full-time, admirers criticized her for the slip-up on social media.
“North’s account has deleted this video. Is it as a result of Kim Kardashian’s desire to dispel any notion that they keep their canines in the garage? A TikTok user who shared the video remarked, “I wonder why they erased it.
In response, PETA told Page Six exclusively that it was “hoping hard” that the reality star, 42, didn’t force her pups to live in a space meant for cars — no matter how large.
The group’s senior vice president, Lisa Lange, told us, “We are hope hard that Kim Kardashian does not consign her dogs to life in a garage, knowing that she is anti-fur and generally vegan.”
What PETA is aware of is that dogs are highly sociable pack animals who require more than simply comfortable bedding and pretty stockings: They should feel safe, loved, and included in the household as members of the family.
