Briefing on Gauteng 3rd Quarterly Crime Stats & Rosettenville shooting
Gauteng Police Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Elias Mawela will on Friday, 25 February 2022 at 11h30 present the province’s 3rd Quarterly Crime Statistics for the 2021/22 FY to the Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Community Safety.
The Provincial Police Commissioner will provide an account particularly focusing on the number of crimes committed in Gauteng during the period of (October-December 2021)
The Provincial Police Commissioner will also take this opportunity to brief the Portfolio Committee on the recent multidisciplinary operation in Rosettenville which led to the successful arrest of suspected cash-in-transit robbers and the fatal shooting of some.
