Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State paid a visit to the site of a helicopter crash in the state and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the first responders and residents who participated in the rescue mission.
The incident involved a single-engine fixed-wing Jabiru aircraft that crash-landed into an old communication pole in Ikeja Lagos, with two passengers on board.
The governor acknowledged the quick response of the citizens, which contributed to the successful rescue of the two passengers aboard the aircraft.
He thanked all the individuals and workers at the fuel station who played a role in the rescue efforts.
