Reports suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “ok” with the eviction notice that Buckingham Palace has served them for Frogmore Cottage.
The couple was allegedly given weeks to vacate the property following the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare. Some members of the Royal Family were said to have been “appalled” by the decision to evict Harry and Meghan, with the couple reportedly feeling stunned.
However, a source has now claimed that they are “ok” with the decision and believe that “if we need to move out, we will get ourselves out.” The couple has acknowledged their privilege in having homes in the UK and the US, but have accepted that it is “not going to work for them.”
This week, The Sun reported that Prince Andrew was offered the five-bedroom Frogmore Cottage, but he is allegedly “resisting” and wants to stay in his larger Windsor Royal Lodge.
Preparations are ongoing for King Charles’ Coronation in May, and speculation remains about whether Prince Harry will receive an invitation. The couple has stayed at Frogmore Cottage only a few times since leaving the UK three years ago, attending last summer’s Platinum Jubilee, charity engagements, and after the Queen’s death.
