HM’s name appears in the list of honours. The year of the Queen’s Jubilee

In honor of The Queen, honorees have been recognized for their extraordinary accomplishments in a variety of fields, with a focus on long-term public service, environmental sustainability, and youth participation.
Recipients join The Queen with 70 years of public service. Angela Redgrave, the founder and principal of the Bristol School of Dancing, who receives a BEM for services to dance – and is the oldest person on the List at 104 years old – and 80-year-old Patricia Anne Husselbee from Newport, who receives a BEM for her 64 years of service to the Royal British Legion
 
The Jubilee Honours List also recognizes youth engagement, as exemplified by 11-year-old twins Elena and Ruben Evans-Guillen, who receive BEMs for raising approximately £50,000 directly for the NHS and NHS-related organisations over the past three years and are the List’s youngest honorees. Alex Griffiths, 22, who receives a BEM for helping carers and has been a young carer since the age of 5, is also among the youngest recipients.
Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister, stated:
This historic Platinum Jubilee is not only a celebration of the monarch but of the qualities she possesses. The honours she confers this week reflect many of those qualities that have been invaluable from all different walks of life and to communities across the UK.
I pay tribute to all of this year’s winners. Their stories of courage and compassion are an inspiration to us all.

This List additionally honors three Companions of Honour: novelist Sir Salman Rushdie for his contributions to literature; illustrator Sir Quentin Blake for his contributions to illustration; and Dame Marina Warner for her contributions to the humanities.
Dame Susan Ion, a global expert in nuclear engineering, has been awarded a Dame Grand Cross for her work in supporting the next generation of engineers from under-represented communities and for her international impact in her area.
