Hoda Kotb thanks fans for sending their love and best wishes to her daughter during her hospitalization

Hoda Kotb, the host of “Today,” has expressed gratitude towards her fans for their support following her daughter’s hospitalization last month.

In an Instagram post, Kotb shared a graphic with the words “thank you” written three times and thanked her fans for their kind words and prayers.

Kotb had been absent from the show for two weeks, during which time her 3-year-old daughter, Hope, had been in the hospital.

Although she did not disclose the reason for her daughter’s hospitalization, Kotb returned to the show on Monday and shared that Hope had been in the ICU for a few days and in the hospital for over a week.

Kotb expressed her gratitude for Hope’s recovery, stating that she is “vibrant and brilliant.”

Viewers became concerned about Kotb during her absence in mid-February, and her colleagues addressed the issue on the show.

Since returning to “Today,” Kotb has thanked the doctors and nurses who helped her daughter and shared a heartwarming story about Hope’s generosity, even when she was not feeling well.

Kotb is a Daytime Emmy winner and shares her children, Hope and 6-year-old Haley, with her ex-fiancé, Joel Schiffman.
