Homemade marshmallows recipe

Need some kid-friendly braai or camping activities this summer? Because they are cheap to produce and taste great by themselves, marshmallows are a staple food item. However, nothing beats the quality of homemade marshmallows. Especially when coated with coconut, their texture is enhanced while their sweetness is reduced. All of us agree that the squares seem considerably more appetising.

Homemade marshmallows suggestions

A bain Marie, or double boiler, will be your main tool. Melting may be done in a bowl placed over a kettle of hot water. Making marshmallows is a breeze, but the real reward comes from seeing others enjoy them with you. They taste amazing dipped in chocolate or roasted over an open fire. You can eat them on their own, or you can put them in your hot chocolate. You have complete control over the variations.

Simply said, store-bought marshmallows can’t compare to those you make at home. And especially if you take them camping and then wow everyone with your incredible desserts.
