A man shot his co-worker in the head at a Buffalo convenience store in front of the victim’s young son, as captured on a horrifying video. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at Sears Food Enterprise on Broadway near Sears Street.
The suspect, identified as Abdul Hussein, a store employee, can be seen exchanging heated words and profanities with his co-worker, Tawfaik Alsheari, before shooting him in the head with a rifle.
The victim falls to the ground while his son runs behind the counter. The shooter then washes his hands, grabs a snack, and sits on a chair, calmly licking his fingers as the victim lies motionless.
Hussein was arrested and charged with murder, with a felony hearing scheduled for Monday. The victim’s ex-wife, Melissa Alsheari, expressed her shock at the graphic video being shared on Facebook and requested that it be taken down before her teenage daughters see it.
Facebook has placed the clip behind a sensitive content warning and allowed it to remain on the platform, stating that it does not violate any of its standards.
