IAUE 2022/2023 Post-UTME Procedures


Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, IAUE post-UTME screening procedures for the 2022-2023 academic year. No additional post-UTME test is necessary; screening is conducted exclusively online.

In 2022/2023, the admissions screening procedure will be conducted fully online. Therefore, all applicants to the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education are required to remain at home during the screening. The following methods will be implemented:

No further Post-UTME examination is necessary. JAMB UTME will account for 100% of all candidates’ scores. Candidates for Direct Entry will also have their uploaded documents evaluated.

The data given by candidates via the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and uploaded to the university’s portal will be thoroughly examined for admission processing.

Candidates who did not rank well but scored highly on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Examination (UTME) would be notified for course modification so that the Admissions Unit can complete their admission. Candidates must have the UTME and O-level combinations stated in the JAMB Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System in order to be ranked (IBASS).

Desired action for all candidates:

i. Candidates are recommended to periodically monitor their admission online via the JAMB portal in order to make any necessary adjustments.
Candidates may be asked to change their course on the JAMB portal for a proper rating within a specified time frame.

Additionally, candidates may be asked to complete specific data adjustments within a specified time frame.

The affected candidates will be contacted through encrypted text message. The information must be confirmed on the University’s website and social media platforms. Candidates, parents, and guardians are encouraged to visit the University’s website and social media pages often for important updates. If the advise is not strictly adhered to, the University will not be liable for any deception or fraud perpetrated against applicants, parents, or guardians. It is thought that candidates used their personal phone numbers when registering for the screening exercise, as the University portal does not permit duplicate phone numbers.

Applicants with O-level Results Pending: Online screening will be conducted for candidates with O-level results pending once such results are available and submitted to the JAMB and University portals. Therefore, candidates awaiting results should not panic, as a new screening date will be set.

The online Screening Exercise is slated to begin on September 5, 2022.
