Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Matthews may be suffering from a hangover following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade on Wednesday.
The jubilant wife took her more than 1 million Instagram followers along for the excursion, posting videos of raucous celebrations from the parade route to the after-party at the Mosaic nightclub in downtown Kansas City.
Mahomes, the two-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player, was crushing Coors Lights while Brittany had shots with Chiefs WAGs and other female friends.
Paige Buechele, the wife of backup quarterback Shane Buechele, said to Brittany earlier in the day, “Let’s take another shot.”
The co-owner of the KC Current was enraged and exclaimed, “Hey, I like Paige!”

Fans lined the parade route and cheered from building balconies as the red buses carrying the team and their family members traveled through the streets of Kansas City.
After Mahomes revved up the audience at a rally at Union Station, everyone headed to Mosaic for the exclusive after-party.
The Kansas City Chiefs received VIP bottle service inside the club, which flashed their team’s emblem on screens located throughout the venue.
The club gear hoisted an illuminated placard that read “MVP PAT X KILLA TRAV” while the red and gold team colors blazed from the overhead lighting.
Although he was not seen in Brittany’s recordings, it is thought that Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce attended the after-party.
Sunday at State Farm Stadium, the Chiefs defeated the Eagles by a score of 38-35 to capture their third world title in franchise history.
Mahomes, age 27, is already a two-time Super Bowl champion and the game’s MVP. This season, the quarterback also won his second NFL MVP award.
