Thursday, February 3, 2022 – Deputy President William Ruto has been missing in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance (KKA) campaigns, raising speculation on social media about his whereabouts.
Ruto was last seen in public on Sunday, January 30, at Thirime Primary School grounds in Kikuyu, where he commissioned an administration block and classrooms funded by NG-CDF Kikuyu.
According to the political grapevine, the second in command quietly took a flight to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday, January 31, for private engagements.
Today, revered blogger and social media analyst Robert Alai, revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is also expected to travel to Dubai this week.
“President Uhuru to fly to Dubai this week. I hope that he will not meet the other guy confused in the streets of Dubai,” Alai, who is campaigning for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in August, wrote on his Twitter page.
Sources said the two might meet in Dubai since the second in command had not indicated the date he will jet back into the country.
