In the 1960s and 1970s, Lollobrigida developed a name for herself as an actress, acting alongside legends such as Humphrey Bogart, Rock Hudson, Burt Lancaster, Tony Curtis, and Frank Sinatra.
Throughout her lengthy career, she starred in films including “Crossed Swords,” “Trapeze,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Beat the Devil,” “Falcon Crest,” and “Beautiful Yet Dangerous.”
With addition to acting, Lollobrigida also dabbled in photojournalism and politics during her lifetime.
She photographed celebrities such as Paul Newman, Salvador Dal, Henry Kissinger, David Cassidy, Audrey Hepburn, and Ella Fitzgerald in the 1970s.
In 1999, she decided to compete as a candidate for The Democrats for a seat in the European Parliament, however she was unsuccessful.
