Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde blast ex-nanny for “false and scurrilous claims

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde have issued a joint statement condemning the former nanny of their children for “false and scurrilous allegations.”

Their ex-employee, who worked for them for more than three years, gave an interview to the “Daily Mail” in which she made a variety of charges, including one concerning Sudeikis’s behavior during the breakup of his relationship with Wilde, and said she was fired by the “Ted Lasso” actor.

They told “Page Six” on Monday, “As parents, it is extremely disturbing to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would chose to make such false and slanderous charges against us in public.”

The couple accused the nanny of a “now 18-month campaign of harassing us, as well as our loved ones, close friends, and coworkers,” claiming that it had “hit its terrible climax.”

They stated, “We will continue to concentrate on raising and protecting our children in the honest hope that she would leave our family alone.”

Wilde, 38, and Sudeikis, 47, are co-parents to Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5 years old.

The actress has denied leaving Sudeikis for ex-One Direction singer Harry, 28, whom she met while he acted in the film she directed, “Don’t Worry, Darling.”

In January 2021, she and Styles were initially linked romantically after they were spotted holding hands at his pal Jeff Azoff’s wedding in California.

Wilde told the current issue of “Elle” magazine that although people believe she has “abandoned” her two children with Jason, she goes to great efforts to prevent them from being photographed.

She stated, “My ex and I share joint custody of our children. People believe I have abandoned my children, as if they are sitting in a hot car somewhere without me.

The implication is that I have abandoned my motherly duties.

Wilde stated that the public does not see her with her children because she “doesn’t allow them to be photographed,” adding, “Do you know how far I go to keep my children from being seen by you?

The former couple became engaged in 2013, however they announced their separation publicly in November 2020.

The subsequent custody dispute between Wilde and Sudeikis resulted in the actress being served papers in April while she was on stage speaking at “CinemaCon” – a move she described as “appalling” and “vicious.”
