Jemmah Lorraine Cole-Crighton’s final words to mum before fatal Warrego Highway crash near Toowoomba

The bereaved mother of a young woman who was murdered in a horrible accident involving an allegedly stolen automobile recalled their unsettling chat about the excitement of fast cars from days earlier.

Jemmah Lorraine Cole-Crighton was living life to the fullest before it tragically came to an abrupt end last Friday morning
Friday in southern Queensland, Jemmah Lorraine Cole-Crighton, 24, was driving a 2009 Toyota Camry when she lost control and slammed into a tree on Warrego Highway near Toowoomba.

She crawled from the burning wreckage to a neighboring hill before being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where she died surrounded by her parents and siblings.

Kelly Cole, a heartbroken mother, has broken her silence to pay tribute to her vivacious, exuberant, and cheerful daughter who lived life to the fullest and was attempting to turn her life around prior to her sad death.

She acknowledged that Jemmah enjoyed living on the edge as she recalled one of their final discussions.

She informed the Gatton, Lockyer, and Brisbane Valley Star that although she would ride in stolen cars, she never stole one.

She informed me only last week, “I love the thrill of being in cars because people drive so fast, but I would never steal from anyone.”

Her broken family has established

It has affected and will continue to effect our family, Jemmah’s close friends, and anybody who had the pleasure of meeting her and seeing her lovely smile every day for the rest of our lives.

Jemmah was tragically snatched from us far too soon. She died on Friday the 13th, 2023, after a terrible car accident in which her vehicle struck a tree and then caught fire. She was 24 years old and still had a great deal of life to live.

Devastated companions have also paid their “wild side”

Facebook user: “Beautiful to the eyes, but girl, you’ve always had a wild side.”Kelly Cole admitted her daughter Jemma had her troubles in the past but had been trying to turn her life around

“We all admired your kindness, passion, self-assurance, faithfulness, loyalty, intelligence, independence, and love!”

Sincere sympathies to your family and my deepest condolences for this awful loss!

A male

Her 20-year-old male passenger was also brought to the hospital with a severe head injury and major burns.

On January 10, Queensland Police said that the vehicle was taken from the Hooper Centre car park in Toowoomba earlier in the week.

The police allege that the vehicle was stolen after the Camry’s driver left her vehicle with her keys and purse still inside.

The Forensic Crash Unit has asking drivers with footage of the automobile before to the collision to come forward.
