On Friday, Jen Shah will report to prison with new tattoos.
Just days before beginning her six-and-a-half-year jail term for wire fraud, the former “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star got two new tattoos.
On the top of her left forearm, Shah, 49, has the Hawaiian word for “baby” or “child” tattooed: Keiki.
She also tattooed the names of her husband, Sharrieff Shah, and her two sons, Sharrieff Jr. and Omar, on the underside of her right arm.
In March of 2021, Jen was apprehended for operating a nationwide telemarketing scam that targeted thousands of people, primarily the elderly.
Although she maintained her innocence for months, the reality television personality changed her plea to guilty at the eleventh hour prior to her July 2022 trial.
Jen’s attorney, Priya Chaudry, told Page Six upon learning her fate in early January that “Shah deeply regrets the mistakes she has made” and intends to make up to those she has affected.
However, two weeks later she posted and erased a cryptic Instagram Story statement regarding “the truth.”
The quote stated, “There’s something about a woman with a loud mind who sits in silence and smiles, knowing she can crush you with the truth.”
Despite the fact that she appears to have much to say about the matter, Jen has made it clear that she will not share it with Andy Cohen.
The convicted fraudster said in an Instagram post last month, “I will not be doing the 1:1 with Andy Cohen and Bravo.”
“I would rather remain silent and wait until I can share my story accurately than continue to have complete lies and misrepresentations spread about me in the media.”
After completing her prison sentence, Jen will be required to pay $6.5 million in reparations and undergo a mental health treatment program.
