Julia Fox has made the transition from muse to model.
Last night, the 33-year-old actress walked the runway for Alexander Wang’s first New York Fashion Week presentation since 2019 in a see-through outfit.
Fox closed one of the three acts of the designer’s “Cupid’s Door” performance without a bra while wearing an enormous, glittery black blazer and a pair of beige pants underneath a sheer, crystal-covered nude mesh dress.
She wore her hair straight and slicked back with a strong red lip and clear heels to match the outfit’s see-through motif.
Fox spoke with controversial beauty Youtuber Nikita Dragon — who was arrested in November after being charged with felony violence — in a video released on Wang’s TikTok, stating, “I feel like a sexy siren, ready to suck souls.”
In fact, she held her blazer open throughout both the interview and the subsequent runway appearance, revealing her bare chest.
Wang’s comeback to New York Fashion Week symbolizes a new chapter for the designer and his brand in the wake of many sexual assault claims that surfaced three years ago, and Fox’s participation in the dazzling show is not surprising.
The inspiration for “Uncut Gems” has long been a fan of Wang, who in 2021 issued a statement promising to “do better;” In her Alexander Wang underwear, she appeared for his Bodywear line on top of a taxi and while grocery shopping last year.
In addition to her involvement in the runway show, Fox wore many additional eye-catching ensembles in New York City this week, and in usual flair, she found a way to give denim an edge.
On Tuesday night, she donned an ensemble by Mpaz Studio that was made entirely from the waistbands of jeans, with the thin strips of cloth flowing across her in the manner of a dress and revealing a great deal of side boob.
Attending a party held by “Gossip Girl” actor Evan Mock and Pandora, the mother of one wore denim Gia Borghini shoes ($646) and a large jean jacket.
Fox wore a ripped white crop top with a cargo-style skirt and a matching jacket to the Saks Fifth Avenue New York Fashion Week opening party at L’Avenue restaurant yesterday night.
Joining celebs such as Emma Roberts at the event, the actress, who recently defended her tiny New York City apartment, completed her edgy ensemble with a spiked black collar choker and towering platform combat boots. In addition, she appears to have deepened her previously bleached brows while trimming them to a very nineties slim shape.
Tomorrow, when NYFW officially begins, the Fox fashion moments are likely to become even more interesting.
