K.O Releases “Sete” Remix Featuring Elite African Musicians
Multi-award winning artist and former member of Teargas K.O has released a remix of his hit song “Sete.”
The remix features some of the elite African musicians such as Diamond Platinumz and Nigerian singer Oxlade.
The original song included Young Stunna, who also features in the remix.
The Record-breaking “Sete”
The Afro-beat sound of “Sete” has dominated the RAMS radio chart, securing the number one spot for numerous weeks.
The song has also broken a few records in the local entertainment industry.
The most impressive of these records is that the original version of “Sete” has surpassed 27 million views on YouTube.
This made K.O the first local artist to attain ten million YouTube views in a month after a song’s release.
Additionally, the song has achieved an impressive twenty million streams on digital platforms.
K.O’s Decision to Remix “Sete”
K.O stated in an interview with Bona Magazine that he had never been enthusiastic about remixes.
However, he believed that it would be an opportunity to take “Sete” to the next level, especially by collaborating with amazing acts from the continent.
He explained that he chose Oxlade and Diamond Platinumz to make the remix more organic and to bring together the west and east of Africa.
