Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs have announced Ashley Du Preez has been called up to Bafana Bafana.

The news was confirmed by the Glamour Boys via social media on Tuesday.

REPLACEMENT CALL-UP
While Kaizer Chiefs oddly did not bother to reveal why the 25-year-old Du Preez is only getting a call-up now rather than last week with the rest of the squad, SAFA have confirmed that the Amakhosi striker comes in to replace an injured Lyle Foster.
“Warm welcome to Ashley Du Preez as he joins camp, replacing Lyle Foster who has been released due to injury,” the report said.
