The King and Queen of the United Kingdom have expressed their gratitude to the nation for their support during the historic coronation celebrations.
In a written message, King Charles III thanked everyone who helped to make the occasion special, adding that he and Queen Camilla will now rededicate their lives to royal service.
Official portraits were also released, featuring the newly crowned King and Queen in their full regalia.
The working royal family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Edinburghs, and the Princess Royal, were also photographed with the King and Queen.
The King used his coronation message to affirm his commitment to serving the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms, and Commonwealth.
He expressed his gratitude to those who helped to make the celebrations safe and enjoyable.
Meanwhile, the younger members of the royal family joined in the national volunteering drive to mark the coronation.
Prince Louis participated in his first official royal engagement, helping out at a Scout Hut in Slough.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh helped at a puppy class for trainee guide dogs, and the Princess Royal attended a County Civic Service recognizing local volunteers.
The Duke of York, who recently stepped down from being a working royal after a controversial Newsnight documentary, was missing from the family group of royals in the official coronation portraits released so far.
The Duke of Sussex, who is also no longer a working royal, was not present either, having returned to California shortly after the coronation ceremony.
In the portraits, the King was pictured in his full regalia, holding the Orb and Sceptre with Cross and seated on a Throne Chair.
Camilla was pictured alongside the King, wearing Queen Mary’s Crown and the train of her lengthy embroidered Robe of Estate spread in front of her.
The official portraits were taken by Hugo Burnand, a former Tatler photographer who also took the official wedding photos for Charles and Camilla in 2005 and for William and Kate in 2011.
