Wes Nelson, a former star of Love Island, revealed on his Instagram that he was rushed to the hospital after losing his vision and consciousness randomly.
The 25-year-old reality TV personality, who placed fourth in the dating show with his ex-girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson, informed his 1.4 million followers on Monday, May 8, that he was “all good” after having undergone tests.
Wes shared a photo from his hospital bed and detailed the experience, saying he randomly started losing his vision and consciousness at home, and his neighbour helped him to get to the hospital.
The singer-songwriter did not provide further details but said that they conducted a bunch of tests, and he was all good now.
Despite the scary incident, Wes announced that he was feeling better and would continue with his 14-date tour of the UK and Ireland.
His tour is set to begin on May 9 in Glasgow and will include cities such as Newcastle, Manchester, Dublin, and London.
Wes turned to singing and songwriting after his Love Island stint and signed a record deal with EMI Records in August 2020.
He released his debut single, See Nobody, with Hardy Caprio in September 2020, which reached third place in the UK Singles Chart and ninth in the Irish Singles Chart.
Wes reassured his fans that he was feeling better and ready to embark on his tour.
He thanked everyone who took care of him and wished to see his followers in Glasgow.
