After reportedly terrifying two persons in front of horrified spectators in the center of Melbourne by threatening them with a homemade pistol, a guy has been detained in dramatic circumstances.
Prior to 10 a.m. on Friday, reports of an incident between a man and two strangers prompted police to respond to the scene in Spencer Street in the CBD.
The guy is said to have threatened the two strangers with a handmade gun.
The victims, who were unharmed, then called the police.
Shortly after, police in the area of Elizabeth Street detained the guy after reportedly discovering a handmade pistol in his hands.
The 24-year-old male, who has no permanent residence, is helping police with their investigations.
