A mother from Arizona went viral after she attended a school board meeting in a cat costume and makeup to parody the school’s ‘woke agenda’
Lindsey Graham, a conservative and published author who produces the podcast ‘Patriot Barbie,’ made news after a video of her in the cat costume, inspired by board member Paul Bixler, surfaced online.
Bixler, a 72-year-old former principal and educator, identifies as a transgender woman. After the election was canceled in 2021, she was named to the Liberty School Board, which oversees eight schools on the outskirts of Phoenix, and is scheduled to serve until December 2024.
Graham, unrelated to the South Carolina senator of the same name, addressed Bixler and the board that evening without mentioning her.

Lindsey Graham, a conservative and published author who produces the podcast ‘Patriot Barbie,’ made news after a video showed her dressed as a cat and seeking the resignation of board member Paul Bixler.
Bixler, a 72-year-old retired educator and administrator, identifies as transgender. After the election was canceled in 2021, she was named to the Liberty School Board, which oversees eight schools on the outskirts of Phoenix, and will serve until December 2024.
Graham, unrelated to the South Carolina Senator of the same name, addressed Bixler and the board that evening.
She stated, “I am a cat.” Meow, meow. I am not a woman wearing a cat costume. I am a cat. How many of you acknowledge that I am a cat? How many of you feel that your child or a student from this school would mistake me for a cat?
After no one raised their hand, she said, “No one.” You are correct. The truth triumphs over fantasy. Existence exists. Discernment is intrinsic and part of our biological makeup. One look at me will convince you of this. I am a woman masquerading as a cat.
Graham talked with Jesse Watters of Fox News on Tuesday to express her indignation over Bixler’s inappropriate influence on schoolchildren. Graham’s appearance a month ago caused the Internet to erupt in a frenzy.
She stated, “This was a local school in my area where Paul Bixler was a member of the school board. ‘He is a man, he is a man without a doubt.’
Graham then claimed that “the only way he identifies as a woman is by wearing lipstick.” He wears his deceased wife’s attire to school, sporting activities, school fundraisers, and school events in front of the children.’
Bixler transitioned after the 2017 death of his wife of 36 years, Candace.
The ‘Patriot Barbie’ added, ‘The only way he identifies as a female is by wearing lipstick. He wears his deceased wife’s attire to school, sporting activities, school fundraisers, and school events in front of the children.’
She identifies it as a “gender identity issue,” stating that the board member wants to be referred to as either Paul, “which is a male name,” or Ms. Bixler.
Not only does he insist that the children define him as a lady when he appears before them, but he also sits on the board and makes decisions for these children.
Bixler stated in a July interview with AZCentral that, despite her late change, she has received largely good feedback from the people.
Graham stated, “This was a local school in my neighborhood where Paul Bixler served as a member of the school board. He is a man, and he is a man with absolute certainty.
The ‘Patriot Barbie’ continued, ‘The only way he identifies as a female is by wearing lipstick. He grew out his hair and wears his late wife’s clothes to school, sporting activities, school fundraisers, and school functions in front of youngsters.
Bixler stated in a July interview with AZCentral that, despite her late change, she has received largely good reactions from the people.

She spent decades in Arizona and Texas as a teacher, coach, and principal. She may be the first transgender woman elected in Arizona, though records remain questionable.
Regarding her decision to run for office, Bixler stated, “I thought, ‘Shoot, what I know is public education. And right here in Arizona, I could be useful.”
She stated that “Free adequate education” was on her agenda. Does this sound familiar? I wish so. The terms free and suitable are a guarantee. A promise entrenched in the Fourteenth Amendment and guaranteed under the 1973 Rehabilitation Act. This commitment only requires attendance. I believe that this is a constitutional and, more crucially, a human right of every child. I support public schooling.
Despite her shift, she maintains the name Paul because she believes she is the same person she has always been.

Graham, meanwhile, believes Bixler’s’mental disorder’ should prevent her from influencing children.
Regarding her decision to run for office, Bixler stated, “I thought, ‘Shoot, what I know is public education. And they could use me right here in Arizona”
Bixler stated, “I do not believe that I have changed at all. I feel like I am who I am. I believe I have always been who I am. Thus, my parents gave me the name Paul. I’ve always liked being Paul. Paul Bixler has led a prosperous life.
Graham argues that Bixler’s’mental disorder’ should prevent her from influencing children.
She stated, “Someone with this type of mental illness can enjoy it to their heart’s content in the comfort of their own home.” But when you put them in charge of children, we’re talking about a new form of indoctrination, and that’s what’s truly terrifying: seeing these individuals in charge of our children’s education.
Graham, who moved to Arizona from Oregon after defying state lockdowns to keep her salon open and sued the governor, said that one of the school board members thanked her for ‘fighting this agenda, fighting this teacher and this school board member.’
